Plain language, because that's how this site works: what we collect when you check your rebate, why, who sees it, and how to have it deleted.

What we collect
When you use the rebate checker or one of this site's forms, we collect: your name, phone number and email address; your town; your current heating fuel; and your answers about your home and heating system (things like home type, existing equipment and ductwork). On the federal rebate reserve form only, we also ask for your household income band — a range, not an exact figure — because the federal rebate amount depends on it. Like most websites, we also use Google Analytics, which records anonymous usage statistics (pages visited, approximate region, device type) — not your name or anything you typed into a form.
Why we collect it
For one purpose: to prepare your rebate estimate and follow up with you about it. Your answers determine which rebates you may qualify for and what the work would involve; your contact details are how the estimate and follow-up reach you. The income band on the reserve form is used only to estimate which federal rebate tier you are likely in.
Who sees it
One local advisor — the person who prepares your estimate and follows up. Your information is never sold, never shared as a call list, and never passed to other companies for their marketing. The only other companies that handle it are the service providers that make this site work: Brevo (sending and managing email), Cloudflare (website hosting and email routing) and Google Analytics (anonymous usage statistics). They process the data to provide those services; they don't use it for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while the follow-up is relevant — while you're considering the work, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case programs or prices change in a way that matters to you. If you ask us to delete your information, we delete it. There is no sale of data and no indefinite hoarding of it.
Your copy, or removal
Email [email protected] any time to ask what information we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, or to have it deleted. Removal requests are honoured promptly and without argument.
